Who, what and where?

Liverpoolfestivalen

When you're at the festival, you'll of course get to hang out with the legends, but they've also been given some special missions along the way!

Lunch, breakfast and dinner!

There will be no shortage of opportunities to get some food during this year's festival. At the festival site you will of course find a selection of different foods, but we also invite you to get your fill outside the festival site. Below you can read more about where you should hang out to eat your fill and get extra close to the legends.

Last year we launched the first English Breakfast at Brygga . We simply invited festival participants, local people and not least artists and legends to a traditional British breakfast by Lake Mjøsa, just a two-minute walk from the festival area. It was packed both Friday and Saturday with people enjoying the live music from Marie Gram and Tor Henning Olsen from Det Betales, as well as Andy Hodgson and David Jaggs from The Ragamuffins who couldn't put down their guitars.

There will of course be an English breakfast this year too, from 10:00 - 12:00 on both Friday and Saturday. There is no obligation to eat and it is completely free to take a seat at one of the tables, some may be tempted by a refreshing glass in the morning sun. It will be the same as last year with live music but in addition there will be a breakfast chat with Sammy Lee and festival host Lee Rogan .

Livergirls ONLY

It's nice to be able to arrange lunch for the ladies. We have done that during all the festivals and of course we have to do that this year too. In previous years we have had Sami Hyppiä, David Fairclough, Maren Lundby and Glenn Hysèn as guests in addition to musical performances from Odd Einar Nordheim, The Ragamuffins and Andy Hodgson. This year it is Patrik Berger who has the honor of being the legend you can get extra close to.

There will be good food, bubbles, goodie bags and a great atmosphere on the roof of Strand Hotell on Saturday, August 2nd from 12:30. Again this year, Livergirls ONLY is being organized in collaboration with the Supporter Club.

Supporter dinner

We are also continuing the tradition of a Supporters' Dinner at the Grand Hotel. This event has been sold out every year and will probably be this year too. We have chosen to only offer 60 tickets. Previously we have had visitors from Karen Gill (Shankly's granddaughter) Phil Thompson, George "The voice of Anfield" Sephton, Sammy Lee, Ragnhild Lund Ansnes, Jan Runar Eliassen and Vegard Heggem. Music has been provided by Demenskoret, Kieo, David Jaggs and Andy Hodgson, among others.

This year marks 20 years since the Miracle in Istanbul and it is fitting to invite two of those who were there to bring home the big bucket. Vladimir Smicer and John Arne Riise will join us for dinner and, together with Jaran Pedersen, will share their experiences from the magical evening in 2005! There will of course be live music too. The dinner will be served on Thursday, July 31st at 5:30 PM.

Festival pass and accommodation

Have you already secured your festival pass or are you still thinking about it? There is no danger that we will sell out when it comes to festival passes. We will also be offering day passes soon. The festival area can be expanded and adapted so that we can accommodate everyone who wants to make the trip. When it comes to accommodation, we recommend that you book very soon. We know that hotels and the festival camp at Hovdetun have been very popular and in addition, our motorhome parking is filling up.
