They love to give the iron!

The Secondhand Smokers are a really tough power quartet who love to "give the iron"

The Secondhand Smokers will set the festival grounds on fire when they take the Pepsi Max stage on the festival's second day. The guys play seventies-inspired rock interspersed with blue gold from the beginning of rock. The music delivered can be described as sweaty, tight and suggestive. Improvisation, enjoyment of playing and "giving it your all" are a matter of course. Some of the artists in the repertoire are taken from are Rory Gallagher, Robin Trower, Johnny Winter and ZZ Top.

Experienced guys

There aren't exactly any newbies taking the stage during Liverpool Festival 2025. These guys have been around since Beethoven lost his hearing and the members have several side projects, their own bands and collaborations with other musicians behind them. This is The Secondhand Smokers:

Arild Steinsrud bass and vocals . One of the founders of Nickels & Dimes. Also plays with the renowned guitarist Erik Harstad, in the band So What. Arild has extensive experience and has performed concerts with big names such as Reeves Gabrels, Rypdal/Tekrø and Jørn Lande.

Tom Arne Fossheim drums. Have worked regularly with. Ken Hensley for many years, playing on many of his latest releases. Tom is also a member of the band WonderWorld. One of Tom Arne's favorite moments was when he and his band Ken Hensley's Live Fire "backed" Alice Cooper in front of 40,000 fans.

Thomas "Rebo" Bjerke Guitar . Rebo is a very active and widely used guitarist. For many years he has stuck with Ingar Amlien's slightly legendary Crest of Darkness. Member of the Classic Rock band Gills.

Lars Viken organ/piano and keys. Also plays in spellemann-nominated and critically acclaimed Trond Svendsen & Tuxedo) Widely used session keyboardist, and has recently done work with, among others, Return.
