Whether you come for the great Beatles classics, the raw rock songs or the immortal songs from The Kop, everything is in place for a musical experience you will never forget.

A banging start
The festival kicks off on Thursday night with a real deep dive into rock history. Local ring foxes Gill's Wrecking Ball have been perfecting the formula for playing pleasure for over twenty years, and they bring a solid dose of rock experience straight to the stage. Here you can expect a nostalgic and unpolished journey through the catalogs of giants like AC/DC, the Rolling Stones and Deep Purple. It will be an evening characterized by classic rock and blues, served by guys who are so local that they can almost cycle to the gig with a guitar case on their back.
The band that will close the first day of the festival is not yet known, but as is tradition, there will be a good beat and a great atmosphere. There will also be a musical performance earlier in the day to warm up the audience until the real action begins.
There will also be live music for those who have chosen to join the Supporter Dinner on Thursday. Here we can promise a real gem and a version of You`ll Never Walk Alone that will give you chills, and possibly a little tear in the corner of your eye.
Friday with the sound of Merseyside
When Friday comes, the focus shifts to the very heart of Liverpool. No one can convey the legacy of "The Fab Four" better than Det Betales . The band has toured the world since 1976 and is considered Norway's best Beatles interpreters. When they tune in with "Hey Jude" and "Penny Lane", just prepare for goosebumps, jenka and sing-alongs that are guaranteed to echo throughout the festival area.
But if you're awake a little earlier in the day, there will of course be live music during breakfast at Brygga as well. Here, several of the musicians from Liverpool have often borrowed their guitars and jumped in after the main artist. Who will play during breakfast on Friday is not yet clear.
Friday night also offers something quite exclusive. For the second time we get to experience The LFC Jam Band , a unique supporter supergroup put together for this occasion. Imagine the energy when David John Jaggs from The Ragamuffins, supporter favorite Andy Hodgson, young rising star Harry Fazakerley and Bergen's own pride, Alek, join forces. These are musicians who create life for supporters on a weekly basis at places like Taggys and Hotel Anfield and more, and now they will deliver a golden series of supporter songs that bring Merseyside to Gjøvik.
The grand finale
On Saturday there will also be breakfast at Brygga and Tor Henning Olsen , Mr. Det Betales himself, will be the entertainer. The bonus here will probably be that the scousers can't help but get hooked. They struggle to see a guitar without using it.
Saturday belongs to those who truly live and breathe Liverpool FC. During the girls' lunch at PI-Taket, Strand Hotel (Livergirls ONLY), there will again be musical performances from a slightly lighter version of The Ragamuffins . They have insisted that they are the ones to do that gig, because you can hardly get a more enjoyable gig.
Throughout the festival weekend you will encounter familiar faces and hear the music of several who have become part of the festival's soul. Andy Hodgson , the swashbuckling Scouser with the blood-red heart, is back with a guitar case full of growl songs. He is joined by the young and talented Harry Fazakerley , who has already had his own music played at Anfield. Then we also throw in Bergen's big son, Aleksander " ALEK " Hornes, who has grown and gained a solid standing in the supporter community in the last couple of years.
To tie it all together, we also get a visit from local favorites like Rune Bakkelund , who with his infectious mood is sure to bring out some Vazelina gems, and Rasmus Dugstad who usually spreads musical magic under his alter ego Saint Elmo and through the duo Ash and Thorn (known from The Voice). During the festival he will perform as himself, and we know it will be a good musical experience.
Saturday ends with the grand finale when The Ragamuffins come straight from Liverpool city to put a worthy end to the festival. Here there will be a continuous stream of LFC songs from the guys behind the supporter versions of, among others, "Si Senor" and "Lucho" (together with Andy Hodgson) and of course "MacAllister". The Ragamuffins have been the house band at Hotel Anfield in recent seasons and are a regular fixture there on match days. They have also played around at major supporter events in the USA, Canada and Europe. This will be a perfect end to the festival.
Are you ready?
Hotel rooms and cabins are selling out, and the RV park is almost full. Festival pass sales are good and it looks like both the Supporter Dinner and Livergirls ONLY will be full again this year. We really hope you will come to Gjøvik this summer to share your passion for Liverpool FC with lots of supporters from home and abroad.
Train, car, plane, boat, bike or swim?
We are of course incompetent, but we think that Gjøvik is possibly the navel of the world, at least during these three days of festival in the city. If you have booked a place at a hotel or festival camp, go to this page to find the address.
If you live in the Mjø area, it is also possible to swim to the festival area.
Regardless of which means of transport you plan to use, you will end up in Gjøvik eventually. Trains from Oslo S take approx. 2 hours, you can also choose a train to Lillehammer or Moelv and take a bus to Gjøvik. If you are coming via Gardermoen, we recommend the airport bus to Gjøvik (approx. 90 minutes) or train to Moelv and then by bus to Gjøvik.
If you are driving to the festival, just turn on your GPS, plot the address and shorten the drive with good music at the facility. If you live in the Mjøs area, it is also possible to swim to the festival area. If you do, we will be ready with a towel. We recommend starting in Lillehammer so that you get the most out of the trip. Good luck!
