Many have wanted Jan Mølby back to the Liverpool Festival!
Best of 2024!
During the Liverpool Festival 2026 we will celebrate our five years and there will therefore be reunions with several of the legends of previous years, musicians and perhaps a guest or two with close ties to LFC. At the same time, there will also be names on the poster that have not been at our festival before. If there was an album we were to release, it would perhaps be called "Best of Liverpool Festival + bonus tracks" From our festival in 2024 we have chosen to bring a super Dane - The great Dane, Jan Mølby!
Jan Mølby is the Dane from Kolding who won 3 league titles during his 12 years at Liverpool FC. He made his debut for the Danish senior national team at the age of 19 and won 33 caps, the highlight of which was the semi-final of the 1984 European Championship when Denmark lost to Spain on penalties. The Dane came from Ajax to Liverpool in 1982 and then brought both league and cup titles with him from the Netherlands
The nicest Dane!
He was the elegant midfielder who controlled most of what happened on the pitch. He was also considered the most reliable from the penalty spot, scoring 42 goals and missing only 3 from 11 meters. The Dane played 292 games for Liverpool FC and scored 62 goals, he retired in 1998.
We are looking forward to having this wonderfully nice guy back to Gjøvik. When Jan is at our festival, he seems to enjoy himself the most when he can hang out at the festival area with the supporters. They say that Danes are nice, and the nicest one is probably Jan Mølby!

Gjøvik is the pearl of the Inland region as we see it. Fantastic location by Mjøsa, Norway's largest lake. Take a look at our city here.

Where can you stay?
If you are staying in the city during the festival, you can choose a hotel, RV park, Air BNB or hostel with festival camp. All within walking distance of the city center and the festival area. We recommend that you book your accommodation as soon as possible. Here you will find places to stay
