47 tons of aid shipments

It is always the children who suffer the most during a war, and Simon Davies could not sit in Liverpool and watch. He had to do what he could to help, and he has done so through his 11 visits to Eastern Ukraine since March 2022. So far, he has delivered 47 tons of food, essential items such as clothing, toiletries and medical supplies to frontline villages, orphanages and hospitals, and he has also evacuated 112 Ukrainian women and children out of Ukraine.

There are so many children who have lost their parents in this war and need our help , says Simon. The orphanages I have visited on my previous trips were in desperate need of diapers, wipes, baby clothes, baby food, formula, baby blankets, baby toiletries, washing powder, dish soap, kitchen towels, dish sponges and all those things you take for granted. The contributions from supporters and others mean that I can make even more trips to Ukraine to make everyday life a little easier for all those who have to suffer while the war rages around them.

Every penny raised goes towards funding the trips to Ukraine. There are no payroll or administrative costs, all funds raised go to helping those in need.

Simon is coming to the Liverpool Festival!

Simon is bringing both his wife and children to the Liverpool Festival this year. There he plans to meet again many supporters he has gotten to know well over the years. But the most important reason for his coming is of course his commitment to the disadvantaged children and families in Ukraine. Click on the video below and hear Simon's words about why he is coming.

You can contribute!

Anyone attending this year's festival should stop by the tent where Simon is selling LFC memorabilia to benefit his work in Ukraine. There will be signed kits, boots, photos and more. He promises that there will be some pretty exclusive and rare treasures up for grabs.
