Taggy's festival bar!

We want to create a little piece of Liverpool for everyone who comes to the Liverpool Festival. Now we have put something in place that means a lot to many of you who have made the trip over to Liverpool

Taggy's Bar!

Taggy's has become a place you have to visit before a game once you've made the trip to Liverpool. Only four, maybe five throws, from the Anfield stadium, in Anfield Road 21 you will therefore find Taggy's. The pub and the pleasant beer garden (beergarden in English, there are no Norwegian words really) run by Kamilla and Tage Herstad. Here there is always a good atmosphere ahead of match days, with live music from our man, Andy Hodgson, sale of supporter effects, delicious barbecue food from a beast of a smoker and of course beer at completely affordable prices.

Both Kamilla and Tage made the trip to Liverpool Festival 2024 and there are many indications that they will also return in 2025. They really should, because Taggy's bar will actually be there. Not quite like in Liverpool, 200 meters from the stadium, but in Gjøvik, 200 miles as the crow flies from Anfield. Taggy's is actually moving into Gjøvik 31 July - 2 August, admittedly not quite as itself, but as Taggy's FestivalBar, next door to Pondus Bar.

Taggy's Bar will be the bar for the slightly more grown-up people who may not think soft drinks are the gift of life. This will be the bar where those over 20 can buy slightly stronger things than festival beer, wine and Battery without sugar. In addition, of course, you have all that and more.

Do you want to support Taggys's?

A group of supporters have started a Spleis for Taggy's, and this has made Tage a little stressed. He is a guy who first and foremost wants to give back to others, and especially to all those in Liverpool who need a helping hand. Several of these have also had a meaningful everyday life through working at Taggy's.

The collection that Norwegian supporters have taken the initiative for is not about supporting the day-to-day operations, but about making arrangements for more people to be able to take part in the community that is being a Liverpool supporter. The money collected will be used, among other things, for a wheelchair lift and better accommodation for supporters with reduced functional abilities. It should simply be easier for everyone to get to Taggy's and take part in the community! Should there be any money left over, this will go to a charity of the Herstad family's choosing. We encourage everyone to support Spleisen.

Experience Taggy's!

As mentioned above, Taggy's is only a few blocks from the Anfield stadium. And if you take your trip, you will meet other supporters, and if you are from Scandinavia, you probably understand what 80% of the people you meet say, if you also understand Scouse, then you understand everyone. Taggy's is really a place you should visit to experience the very special pre-match atmosphere. Part of the credit for the good atmosphere must of course go to Andy Hodgson. Andy, who is returning to the Liverpool festival for the 3rd time, has become a favorite for many. We hope you'll stop by Taggy's next time you're in Liverpool and we also hope we'll see you at Gjøvik and the Liverpool Festival 2025. Until then .................... .... check out the video with Andy Hodgson from Liverpool Festival 2024 where he plays "I proudly wear" for the first time, a song you will hear time and time again for years to come
