The stage is set for something very special during the Liverpool Festival 2025. A band you've probably never heard of before, and that's no wonder!
It's time for a very special experience when The LFC Jam Band takes the stage. A band you've probably never heard of before, and that's no wonder. These guys usually play individually and are regulars at pre-match events at places like Taggy's, Hotel Anfield and Sandon in Liverpool, in addition we've hired the troubadour who usually creates the atmosphere at the Liverpool pub Scruffy Murphys in Bergen.
When we are booking bands and artists to play supporter songs during the festival, there are at least two criteria that must be in place, you must be a die hard supporter and you must be able to deliver the supporter songs with heart and lungs outside the shirt (or guitar). In addition, it helps that you are a thoroughly nice person who likes to hang out at the festival area when you are not on stage. We found seven of them and now we are splicing them together and creating a new band, The LFC Jam Band!
The seven taking the stage to end Friday night with a golden string of LFC songs are:
The Ragamuffins, fronted by David Jaggs, are a band that has become a big favorite among past festival attendees. They are behind several songs, including Si Senor, which most people have sung their hearts out to, in addition to their collaboration with Andy Hodgson and the "monster hit" Lucho. They regularly play at the Hotel Anfield in Anfield Road before home games.
I'm completely blown away (Interview with David Jaggs/liverpoolfestival.no)
Just over the fence for Hotel Anfield you will find Taggy's, the place where the majority of Norwegian supporters choose to warm up for the match. Andy Hodgson is the man who ensures that the atmosphere is above average before you wander on towards Anfield. Andy has been to the Liverpool Festival before and we know he is looking forward to making the trip again.
Born and raised at Anfield (Interview with Andy Hodgson/liverpoolfestival.no)
Not far from Anfield you will find old venerable Sandon, the place where Liverpool FC was founded in 1892. Here you will usually find Kieo and his guitar before home games. The guy goes by the name Kieran Molyneux in everyday life and can be heard, read and seen via LFC podcasts, advertising assignments for the club and as a children's book author. A versatile guy who has been an important part of Boss Night for several years. Check out the video with Kieo in Belfast
.....and then on to Bergen!
Then we have to go to Bergen and Aleksander Hornes, who chooses to call himself Alek when he puts on a suit and guitar. Alek is a regular at the Liverpool pub Scruffy Murphys in his hometown but has also played in front of Liverpool supporters both in Milan and in Liverpool itself. He has also gradually become a sought-after guy when local supporter associations in Norway need an LFC troubadour.

Then all you can do is look forward to Friday night at the Liverpool Festival when this group takes the stage to create a real fan party!
